Reclaim Your Day
Through Movement

InMotion is an app designed to empower your everyday routine to prioritize health and movement effortlessly—even amid a demanding adult lifestyle.

“Only 28% of
Americans are
meeting the
recommended
physical activity guidelines”

According to the CDC as reported by Forbes

We’re here to help get you moving!

InMotion is designed for busy professionals who are challenged to incorporate daily movement into their schedules.  Recognizing that sedentary lifestyles are prevalent in corporate environments, the app provides tailored tools to help users stay active while managing work and personal commitments.

Energize Your Day: Simple Tools to Build Active, Lasting Habits

Jumpstart your routine with features like progress tracking, which turns small wins into milestones, and the interactive movement timer, which encourages quick, impactful activities. Calendar Syncing and Time Blocking integrate movement into daily routines, helping users stay active throughout the day.

Interactive Timers

Keeps users accountable while helping them build new habits and daily routines. Since studies have shown that, ”consistent timing appeared most effective for increasing physical activity” including these timers can aid in progress tracking, users can celebrate their milestones, stay motivated, and see the impact of their efforts.

The app includes personalized timers for activities like stretching or walking, tailored to fit each user’s preferences and available time, making staying on track and focused easier.

Time Blocking & Calendar Syncing

Many adults struggle to incorporate movement into their day due to competing priorities; however, researchers have found that time blocking can increase productivity levels.

Timeblocking allows users to create a personalized schedule, seamlessly fitting exercise around their existing commitments. This helps ensure that physical activity becomes a manageable part of their routine.

Additionally, integrate the app into your daily routine effortlessly by syncing it with your preferred calendar. Automatically receive personalized reminders, appointments, and notifications, ensuring you stay on track without any
extra effort.

Custom Goals

Take control of your health journey with personalized goal-setting tools that empower you to prioritize what matters most. Studies show that setting specific, achievable goals enhances motivation and improves long-term success, and this feature is designed to help you do just that.

Whether your goal is a daily 15-minute walk, stretching every morning, or achieving a weekly movement milestone, InMotion makes it simple to create and track goals that fit into your everyday lifestyle.

Design That Motivates and
Inspires Movement

The vibrant mix of orange, yellow, and blue is strategically chosen to energize, uplift, and build trust. Orange sparks enthusiasm, yellow promotes clarity, and blue evokes calm, creating a balanced atmosphere for goal-setting.

The primary type, the simple geometric sans-serif Outfit, complements this palette, offering an approachable and motivating design.   Paired with the dynamic Gambando Sans, which personifies movement through its vertical displacement, this typography further enhances the app’s energy and focus on health goals.

Documentation and Exploration of Railways
in Athens, GA

This book examines the railways of Athens, Georgia, and how these seemingly vacant areas continue to influence the city’s landscape.

Once vital for transportation and industry, many of these tracks have fallen into disrepair. Though neglected, these areas tell a story of resilience, as nature reclaims them while the space also serves as a refuge or temporary occupation for those in need.I aim to raise awareness of these overlooked spaces and investigate their connections to Athens’s history and
present conditions. The book is divided into five sections, each focusing on a different aspect of this theme—

From the physical remnants of the tracks to how people and nature have adapted these spaces for new uses.

It reflects a narrative of change, exploring both the history of these
places hold and their present-day significance.

My interest in this project comes from personal experience. While living on North Avenue, I often heard sounds from the nearby tracks—not from passing trains but from people moving through the area. This made me realize that although most railways were no longer operational, they still served a purpose.

That realization sparked my desire to document how these spaces, though abandoned by industry, remained relevant and meaningful to some.

Throughout this book, I capture the state of these railways through photography and objects I found along the way, always careful not to disturb each site’s
current state. This was accomplished by photographing five sites near North Avenue, Thomas Street, East Campus Road, Barber Street, and the Firefly Trail, as noted within the map.

By documenting these railways, I want to ask: How do these forgotten sites connect to Athens’ past? What do they reveal about the city today?

This book is not just a visual exploration but also an invitation to reflect on how we perceive and engage with spaces that no longer serve their original purpose yet continue to shape the urban landscape in alternative ways.

Visual Codes for
Grocery Store

Identification System for 30 types of Seafood and Shellfsh

Sustainable fishing
is crucial
for maintaining the health of marine ecosystems, preserving
biodiversity, and ensuring the long-term viability of seafood resources for future generations.

In researching the sustainability of seafood in grocery stores, I choose to explore two main categories of seafood: shellfish and fish.

Promoting sustainable fishing practices is not only about preserving the environment but also about fostering a more sustainable seafood supply chain.

The process of classifying and analyzing the collected information involved organizing data based on key parameters was essential for assessing sustainability. This ensured accuracy and reliability in the
classification process.

I designed a visual code that provided consumers with clear and accessible information about the sustainability of seafood options available in grocery stores. By making the data visually engaging and easy to interpret, I aimed to empower consumers to make more informed choices and contribute to sustainable seafood practices.
By presenting complex data in a more compact, yet simple way, I sought to raise awareness and promote conscious consumption habits among consumers. Through continued exploration and advocacy, I aspire to contribute to a more sustainable future for our oceans and marine ecosystems.
