Visual Codes for
Grocery Store

Identification System for 30 types of Seafood and Shellfsh

Sustainable fishing
is crucial
for maintaining the health of marine ecosystems, preserving
biodiversity, and ensuring the long-term viability of seafood resources for future generations.

In researching the sustainability of seafood in grocery stores, I choose to explore two main categories of seafood: shellfish and fish.

Promoting sustainable fishing practices is not only about preserving the environment but also about fostering a more sustainable seafood supply chain.

The process of classifying and analyzing the collected information involved organizing data based on key parameters was essential for assessing sustainability. This ensured accuracy and reliability in the
classification process.

I designed a visual code that provided consumers with clear and accessible information about the sustainability of seafood options available in grocery stores. By making the data visually engaging and easy to interpret, I aimed to empower consumers to make more informed choices and contribute to sustainable seafood practices.
By presenting complex data in a more compact, yet simple way, I sought to raise awareness and promote conscious consumption habits among consumers. Through continued exploration and advocacy, I aspire to contribute to a more sustainable future for our oceans and marine ecosystems.
